OCD treatment
Battling Obsessive and Compulsive thoughts, images and beliefs can be exhausting and frustrating. We can work together to understand why it has been so hard to solve on your own and how to start moving forward. I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)and believe the best work is getting you back to things that are important to you. ERP involves reclaiming your life instead of feeling you have to avoid everything. I have witnessed many of my clients learn about their OCD with Inference Based CBT (ICBT) and find it incredibly useful to help map out how and why your OCD is pulling you into compulsions. And yes, this works for all types of OCD, no matter what the theme, including health and relationship anxiety/OCD and social anxiety.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Integration
Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP) can be incredibly helpful for people who feel stuck in their thoughts and want to experience some movement forward with their treatment. I work closely with local psychiatrists to help provide the safest and most quality experience for you.

Ketamine is an “off-label” use of legal medicine for many treatment resistant mental health conditions. While most of the research on Ketamine’s efficacy is in the area of depression relief, it is offering a great deal of hope for those suffering with phobias, BFRBs, OCD/severe anxiety disorders, end of life anxiety and many other mental health issues and diagnoses.
Ketamine acts on the structure of the brain, increasing neural network growth and neuroplasticity. Clients report that it helps provide the experience of distance from the usual ways of thinking and struggle with anxious discomfort.
I also provide support for people who have not had integration or have had past negative experiences.

I work with people who are struggling with Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRB’s) and Tics.
BFRBs include Hair-pulling (Trichotillomania), Skin-Picking ( Excoriation Disorder) and other compulsive behaviors such as excessive nail-biting, lip/mouth biting, skin scratching. If you struggle with these behaviors you know that they can be long standing and incredibly hard to stop. You may find yourself engaging in these behaviors when you are anxious or when you are bored. Life with these disorders can be full of shame and isolation, and can prevent people from fully engaging in their lives.
I am trained in CBIT for treatment of Tics and can provide a collaborative approach to repetitive movements that are causing you distress.
